Play Therapy

What can play therapy help with?

As a certified Synergetic Play Therapist

my goal is to support your child in regulation.

While play therapy can support so much more than the the list below, I specialize in

  • meltdowns

  • defiance

  • low frustration tolerance

symptoms such as:

  • anxiety

  • perfectionism

  • self-confidence

  • anger/aggression

  • fidgety

  • a need to control everything

Weekly Play Therapy

Each play therapy session with your child will be 45-minutes long. As I believe that our work together will be the most effective when the parent(s)/caregiver(s) is/are involved, every other month we will hold a free 30-minute long parent(s)/caregiver(s) check-in call. These calls allow us the opportunity to discuss themes of what is arising in the play therapy and I will give you ideas and strategies of how to support those themes at home. We will also be able to spend time discussing whatever other questions you may have at the time and ways that I can best support you outside of the playroom.
